President of Evangelical College: ‘Moral Relativists’ like Obama and Clinton put Trump’s Life in Danger

In April, Richard Land, the president of Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina, said on the “The Ken & Mike Show” that he feels former President Obama and former first lady Hillary Clinton are an existential threat to President Trump.

“Between now and 2020 they’re going to discover that Hillary Clinton and her campaign and the Obama administration colluded with the intelligence agencies and broke the law and tried to throw a presidential election to Mrs. Clinton. And having failed that, they tried to undermine and overthrow the president after he was elected … By the end of this year, the question going to be asked in the Senate is, ‘What did the president know and when did the president know it?’ And they’re not going to be talking about Donald Trump; they’re going to be talking about Barack Hussein Obama.”

Land also feels that the Commander In Chief’s safety is in peril because of rivals that he calls “moral relativists.”

“Let me be very serious for a moment,” he said. “My spiritual antennae have been telling me for the last month, very clearly, to pray directly and fervently for the physical safety of the President of the United States … He has powerful, powerful, powerful enemies who are moral relativists and who believe the end justifies the means and who follow Saul Alinsky.”

Many on the left praised Alinsky, who passed away in 1972, for being a master organizer and activist. Clinton wrote her senior thesis while at Wellesley College on Alinsky’s accomplishments, and the organizer himself spent some time with the former first lady to help her complete it.

President Obama considered Alinsky to be something of a mentor and was said to be the impetus behind Obama’s efforts to be a community organizer.
